When Richards was even half-decent we could overlook Stoll, as we'd be able to trot out some guy at C every shift who didn't look entirely out of place. But nowadays Stoll is starting to look like a sore thumb. The crowded picture at center is starting to thin, and as we zoom out of this picture we now see Stoll isn't wearing pants and has a beer on the go.

Richards at his worst the beginning of this season is still better than Stoll is now

Jon Quick has to be better on that Gilbert goal. I know he can't be aggressive in case Gilbert shoots it up/shortside but man, you'd usually see a poke check from him there. The guy has no confidence right now. I wonder if the back is bothering him.

What?

They can't afford to lose this game tonight, its going to be hard to make the playoffs if they lose.

Its so frustrating to see them play a dominant 1st period and then back off, pissing it all away...

Quick is....AWWESOMEEE! i knew it....i knew it would be a 18-19 shot affair with a few goals in lol

dammn it im good...unfortunately

I've never been more convinced you don't know what the **** you are talking about.

What is it with you anyway? Quick dated and subsequently dumped your sister?

Give me a break.

Quick's been fantastic the last few games. HE's had limited action so far but let's give him a chance to be fantastic tonight, along with the rest of the team, in the 3rd.

If these guys have any pride in themselves, they'll do something about that horrendous showing in the second and respond with a strong third period to take the lead back.

Shore is looking like a roster lock for next year. Just have to find another guy to be a good 3C. Shore can be a 'capable' 3C but love what he's learning on the 4th line.

I agree. Their line has more chemistry all the time. Clifford and Nolan have never looked so good! At least for recently.

It's so frustrating when you feel like your team has dominated all game long and should be up 3-0 4-0 but it's 2-2. Ugh.

LA had who breakaways....where were MOntreal's D? nowhere! it's a freakin' breakaway....who was there though? Tokarski

Montreal could only dream of burying one on a breakaway...but no...all they had was just a mere opening...two openings...that's it...two cracks..where was LA's D? nowhere....who was there though? ******** ****

That second period was anything but dominating. Least the latter half sure wasn't. The Kings had two-three good chances and couldn't do anything with it.

Sutter probably tuned them up good after the last period, i'm expecting a nice heavy dominant display, to take advantage of a "tired" montreal team.

he's my hero, i feel betrayed

like when you find out your hero's been arrested with suspicious material on a laptop

I have a hard time believing you were climaxing eyes closed on BOTH attempts, and missed BOTH Gaborik's lazy whiff tweeners and Shore's total lack of shot.

context lol

Seems to be a theme this year. Opposing fans love to chirp our thread when the game is going their way, but not a ****ing peep when they are losing.

Kings really still smothering them all game, but hockey is a game of mistakes!

I'm seriously starting to question whether or not these guys even want to make the playoffs. It looks like they just take an early summer break this year since they played in June for 3 years in a row.

Yeah I'm hoping we sew it up in the third to keep away adrenaline-fueled visitors fist-pumping through our PGT.
