Worthy with a great return. Unfortunately, Als got the flag for offside. So that doesn't count.

Edit: Ottawa screws up on the snap redo and Als tackle the QB. So they're on Ottawa's 16th.

Stupid challenge. It was likely pass interference but it was too close to be overturned.

Offensive line is shit. Stanback is doing nothing. Stop effing running on 1st down.

O-line was terrible in pass protection and struggled to make holes for Stanback, worst unit on the team by a mile. I'll give them a few games to adjust but they need to improve drastically or this season will get ugly real quick.

Defense looked way better than last year overall but I'd like to see more pressure from the D-line, 1 sack is not enough. The big boys on both sides of the ball need to wake up!

With that being said, I'm happy that Als football is back. Hopefully the team does well this year and starts getting more attention, 20,865 people showing up tonight is a good start.

It's mostly the linesmen who need to block better. Way too many QB sacks. Got to give Cody more time in the pocket.

Fun game nonetheless.
From what I saw, the sacks were as much on Fajardo as the O-line. He needs to throw the ball away and keep the field position, instead of trying to extend the play. It wasn't as if he didn't have time and got sacked. Was pretty lucky Cote was spot on and bailed him out after the sacks. All in all was a decent start to the season, Hopefully they find a bit of creativity on offense as all the new players get integrated, have doubts whether AC is the right guy though, his play calling is so predictable most of the time.

Is AC the offense coordinator? I think he's QB coach, but I could be wrong. They should get better after a few more games. Côté was super.

I think he wears both hats
. I am sure as a former OC, Maas may have a role in the play calling as well.

Didn't see that at all. Fajardo was usually swarmed in 2 seconds. Maybe he should have gone deeper in the backfield to throw the ball but other than that there wasn't much he could do. And he threw the ball away several times.

If anyone attended the game, I was curious to know what your experience was if you went at the tailgate and what was noticeably different than last year.
