Feels bad man. Stutzle was about the only player that had a good game. 3 of our 5 best forwards didn’t play. Hope we get players back soon.

Can you calm down please. You're creating a toxic environment for everyone
So true, sorry man. ;)

I must say though, if we’re mad at Brady for missing this game, and this is what the team looks like without Brady, maybe we should put a pin in the idea of trading him.

Side rant, McDavid scored the big goal, but he was invisible all night, and was similar in the playoffs with Edmonton. Hes an amazing talent who will score when left along, but he doesn’t dominate a game, he’s not that guy.

We need Brady. He can dominate a game like few can. We have a guy like Stu who can score when left alone, or can get a break away, but he needs a guy like Brady.

Go Sens, we’ll get em all when the roster is healthy.

Pathetic all around from quite a few but Batherson sure had himself a night 🤦‍♂️

Hopefully Ullmark remains healthy and gets locked in again sooner rather than later.

See the thing about a trade is… you usually get other players in return.

Also what a wild comment about McDavid. How much have you had to drink tonight? You must be absolutely pinned. There’s been some absolutely ludicrous things said on this website, but “McDavid doesn’t dominate a game, he’s not that guy” really has to take the cake. Kudos.

Are you sure you didn’t mean to say Connor McMichael?

McDavid has dominated plenty of playoff games lol. He also carried the Oilers into the playoffs countless times when it was basically just him, Draisaitl and little else.

I had to zoom in on my phone to make sure I read that correctly. Just madness.

McDavid has scored 1053 points in 695 games, and 95 points in his last 53 playoff games. For the non-math geeks, that’s basically a 150pt/82game pace… in the playoffs!!!

But it’s just because he’s left alone a lot! He can’t dominate a game! He’s not that guy!

Next thing you know @Ice-Tray will be saying that Shane Pinto is more clutch than Sidney Crosby…

Green saying we were rusty as if that's why we lost. Pretty sure the Habs were just as rusty.

We just didn't put forth a good effort, and our starter turned into a sieve.
Jeeeshh. green seriously used the rusty excuse? Hope he didn’t bring it up himself. Was it more of a “safe to say the guys were a little rusty tonight Coach?”

I'm getting worried about how many times we've been saying this about Batherson over the season and into last year.

I think they looked exactly how you would expect the roster they dressed to look like.

Yes and no. The mistakes they kept making, Bath especially, were not the result of a weak roster, they were self inflicted. Also, Ullmark pretty much handed them two goals on a silver platter.

This was maybe 30% roster, 70% shit play.

I think it was a leading question for sure, but Green didn't like, dismiss the idea, he went with it and admitted that yes, they looked and were rusty out there on the ice.

He is a bit streaky offensively like most guys but he shouldn’t be hurting defensively. I should say I’d like him playing more physical on a more regular basis as well. Tonight he was a massive liability. That pass in front of his own net like that simply cannot happen

If they keep icing this roster yes. Looks like the Pinto and Norris injuries weren't as light as they told us they were. Thats another concern with this team the lack of transparency.

I mean, regardless of the seriousness of these particular injuries to both of them, the problem is that they're extremely fragile, especially Norris.

We also need to bring in more consistent players to surround the likes of Stu and Brady, kind of guys who might not be world beaters, but can provide top-6 level play night in night out, as opposed to Batherson and Giroux.

Kind of. But if you want to be a playoff team, you have to have a better default, even with injuries. And it’s not like we were playing the Vegas Golden Knights.

Batherson and Ullmark are not injury replacements and cost us 3 goals. They’re key guys who just played bad.

You gotta get that game to overtime, or at least be in it in the 3rd to have a chance at points.
