No idea the difference between a writer and producer after reading that.

On the talk about the Takeover in San Jose, Dave said that it wasn't confirmed to him (maybe because they don't want to have to announce it yet), but Raw is in San Jose the following Monday, so it would make sense if that happened.

In addition (since I mentioned this here), he also said that for some reason, Money in the Bank won't be in June. To my knowledge, they have nothing announced after Wrestlemania for PPV's except for Summerslam and Survivor Series. Last year, before New Year's (so late 2017 really), they had the whole year lined up, except for some changes when the Melbourne show was announced.

@GKJ seems writers and producers are very similar, although Kaz also mentioned ANY segment with any physicality in it needs a producer involved too. :dunno:

I get the sense that they have a lot of people there they don't need, which is why there's so much turnover.

Vince didn't want to use the word "manager" and thought it was outdated. He wanted Lio to be called Lashley's handler, but Kevin Owens and Kaz (the writer) talked it over and Kevin didn't like the racial connotation that came along with that word. Kaz and a lead writer sat down with Vince, and Vince didn't know what the problem was and wanted to know what they should be called instead. That's where "hypeman" came from and Vince responded, "well goddamn he's a hypeman then!"

Vince wants to talk about outdated and then tried to say that Lio was Lashley's "handler"?

It's ok Vince. You can say manager and nobody is gonna blink an eye.

This is also the guy who decided that 'draft' was an outdated term and is why we now get superstar shakeups.

Raj Giri of WrestlingInc (?) has found out that the reason for Arn Anderson's firing was because he allowed Alicia Fox to wrestle drunk.
Fox showed up to a house show in Feb intoxicated. Anderson knew this and let her wrestle anyway.
Once Vince McMahon found out that was the final straw for AA.
Fox has not been on the road since the incident.

(not sure how legit. just something that keeps popping up today on social media)

Surprised Fox survived that incident while Arn was shown the door. :dunno:

Are they going to keep her tied to Nikki Cross when she comes back, or will Nikki finally get her own solo push?

Alicia Fox seems like she's drunk all the time whenever she's out there, either teaming with Nikki, or Jinder, or whoever.

Guess she was close enough that Arn smelled it on her breath or something. :dunno:

I recently read a story about Jungle Boy in which Luke stated how much he's looking forward to watching his sons wrestling career progress. Sad stuff, he was only 52 years old.

Surprised Foxy didn't get released for that.

Seriously. I get there was more between AA and Vince, but how does AA get released and not the wrestler who actually wrestled drunk lmao

Also, showing up to work drunk is a sign of alcoholism, and I hope Alicia Fox is off the road right now because WWE is getting her help, and not just as a punishment and ignoring the actual issue.

WWE is serious about this type of stuff so I can’t imagine they’re not getting her treatment.

On the Money in the Bank / Takeover date from before:

Money in the Bank is actually going to be on 19th May this year, which is a month earlier than normal.

WWE offered Alicia Fox rehab but she refused and has disappeared from the company. She’s been on thin ice for a while.

Reminds me of when WWE offered Umaga rehab, he rejected, was released and months later he passed away.

Which means unless WWE has a main roster PPV 3 weeks later (which is possible) the Takeover will be a stand alone (for lack of a better term)

Money in the Bank is also in Hartford, so you can see why they didn't do that full weekend there.
