They got over it, but Jericho’s said it numerous times that they’ll never be friends or anything like that and isn’t really afraid of biting his tongue when it comes to speaking out. Those two got over that long ago

I’m listening on spotifywhy am i too dumb to find this?
Jon is never going back lol.
****ing knew there was no way he was cool with those promos. This dude spent christmases with Roman and his family ffs. Get the **** outta here.
Moxley also confirms my hatred for ruining crowd reactions...
“I’m going to have a lunatic in mine...”
“ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back...”
Just hit the ****ing music.
Lol at his royalties comment.
I like that he didn’t want to put Renee in an awkward situation like Punk did AJ when he walked out.
I don’t think he would have done the podcast if he didn’t talk to Renee first. I mean, he prefaced all of it by saying that if things ever got weird they’d get into an RV, sell everything and just be with each other.I mean, he kinda put her in the awkward situation by doing the podcast and confirming the story that he lied to them about doing a film and led them on to believe he was just stepping away and the door was open for him to come back.
I don't disagree with what he did at all, but there's definitely gonna be some higher ups staring daggers at her now.

Renee would be taken by anyone if she ever left. ESPN, AEW, anyone would take her.
Jon got paid way more than she did in WWE, though. The guy is set for life. He was the workhorse for three straight years, champ, and sold stupid merch. He’s set.I'm sure he did, and I was about to say the same thing. She's in a better situation than he is, honestly, because her skills translate outside of wrestling. If she leaves WWE today she can get a job with ESPN/FS1/NBCSN tomorrow. Though I don't know that she'd do that as she obviously wouldn't be living in Vegas anymore.

If wrestling evaporated one day, he could do movies or open up a school, or just ride his bike in the desert for the rest of his life.
I have the same opinion and got roasted a bit for it awhile back. The argument was they need to announce stuff for ratings.
F that. I think long term doing it the other way will help ratings if you have surprises happen occasionally. FOMO.
They take the art away from the artist. The 2 things that grabs me the most about the creative process from his perspective is how he talks about how they essentially take all the wrestling away from you. You don't do anything but do what they tell you to do - someone writes, someone puts the match together. All you're supposed to do is make it all look good.
Which is the next thing. Obviously a lot of the talent knows that that all sucks and they're probably hustling so hard back stage just to get things to a break-even point where instead of being good, it's just not as bad as it could've been. Except of course the few who excel with the scripting and a lot of that essentially comes down to performing for Vince.
And those games they started playing with the new contract offer and whatnot and Triple H supposedly being the one to contact...we've all heard that stuff before with CM Punk.
And he mentioned this too, what you essentially have is an actor. The wrestlers just go out and be wrestlers on the house shows, which no one sees. They take the art away from the artist.
