That, and Conor's going to have a child in the first half of 2017. He's had 4 fights in the past 11 months. I think he's going to take some time off. Maybe one more fight vs. Diaz again for the belt, but I think he may be serious when he says he's going to take some time off with a child coming and the fact that he wants to be paid what he's worth.

I know this is off topic, but how the **** can they justify keeping the Featherweight belt on him at this point?

McGregor holds every card (and a couple extra decks) in all negotiations. He's UFC's only real star right now, he can do what ever he wants and they can't really do anything to stop him. While he needs them to make money, he's fine with taking some time off. They can't wait for him as they need money now due to the massive loan they took out during the sale.

So if he wants both his belts, he gets to keep them.

It's important to remember that the UFC is just as fake as WWE is. It's not a sport, it's just entertainment. Nothing actually matters.

If Conor ends up in WWE, does that mean that the whole Twitter feud between him and half the roster was a work?

Or has that already been proven?
McGregor was working (as he always is), and some people fell for it. Nothing more than that. WWE wasn't working with him to do any of it.

HHH is pushing hard for an appearance, but Conor is on top of the UFC world. WWE has nothing for him.
WWE has money for him. They'll pay him a lot for what would be very little work. He'll want to do it for more exposure. It's already been shown that wrestling fans will pop a PPV buy rate (see CM Punk), so he'll get that from it too.

Conor's a businessman. He knows how to get himself out there. He knows saying stuff like that will be big if ever went to WWE. The thing is, WWE may not be able to afford him. He's the biggest draw in sports and is in such demand that he can realistically make a claim for having a stake in the UFC and not automatically make people laugh.
He's not the biggest. Boxing is a thing you know.

It surprises me how many people don't know who McGregor is. They all know Rousey, but a lot of people just don't know him and he's such a main draw. He hasn't all the way crossed over to mainstream, IMO. In context... if you say John Cena, even people who hate wrestling fans know who he is.

Same. I think Cole might be mixing him up with someone else.

 No.. i was shocked at work on Monday when nobody was talking about it. Me and my buddy were talking about it and literally nobody at work saw it or even knew who he was.

Do you work under a rock?

I'm sharing with you my experience. Like him or hate him, everyone knows Floyd Mayweather. Even people who don't watch sports. Less people can at least have heard of guys like John Cena. Especially a guy like Tom Brady. People who are just your average sport-watcher don't just immediately know him. At least in all of my experiences of talking about UFC.

My one buddy and I have been watching all the shows because they've been on fire. Every time we talk about it, nobody knows a single name. They all know Rousey and that's it. Lesnar, too. It blows my mind how often i've been in converastion with my friend and the people around don't know McGregor. Not just a one off thing at work. Multiple times with friends all from age 25-30. At work it goes 25 - 50 I would say.

So the early idea is that SD men are going to lose to RAW, and the guy that costs them the match is going to feud with a ****** off Taker.

It HAS to be AJ, right?

I really, really don't want them to waste an AJ Styles Wrestlemania match, on Grandpa Taker. :help:

Is Taker actually going to work a match in the near future, or is he sticking to promos until his usual one-and-done "Mania match" schedule?

Seems like he will work multiple matches.

AJ at the Rumble and Cena at Mania.
