Use these lists as a guideline if you don't know who's on the market

Just a few off the top of my head, I know I'm missing some

Chychrun - LA
Giroux - COL or stays in PHI
Lindholm - STL
Giordano - TOR
Klingberg - stays in DAL until draft
Petry - stays in MTL until draft
Lehkonen - stays in MTL until draft
Motte - ???
Fleury - stays put
Boeser - signs extension with Van

My thought is that Carolina will likely acquire a player that wasn't previously thought to be available. Any one of Gavrikov, Peeke, Hronek, Mayfield, Sanheim, or Severson would fit that bill. I think that Lindholm could go to St. Louis, especially if it's a Faulk-style trade-and-sign where someone like Scandella goes to the Ducks, and that Toronto may want to re-unite Giordano-Brodie. Other than that, I have no clue.

Giroux – Colorado

Lindholm – NY Rangers

Chychrun – St. Louis

Rakell – Pittsburgh

Giordano – Edmonton

Debrusk – San Jose or Columbus

Middleton – Boston

Braun – Tampa Bay

C. Miller – Toronto

Fleury – Toronto

Hagel – Carolina

Domi – Boston

Copp – Winnipeg

Klingberg – Dallas

Leddy – Minnesota

Kessel – Los Angeles

Chara – NY Rangers

I think all of the Vancouver guys stay for a playoff push and the team makes their moves in the offseason

Bertuzzi stays.
D. Strome stays.
Boeser stays.
J.T. Miller stays.
Fleury stays.
Klingberg stays.
DeBrusk stays.
Kessel stays.

Middleton is Bostons big move.
Lehkonen is too expensive to trade. Only ones interested are Carolina, but ask is too much.
Rakell will be traded to Toronto.
Konecny to Boston is something I'd love personally, but I dont think he moves.

Copp traded to Pittsburgh as a package deal. Marino goes other way.
Garland for Kapanen as a base, Penguins throw in picks.
Chychrun for Kakko as a base for a trade, doesn't happen.

Petry goes to STL for a disappointing return.
Giroux moves to Avs, price similar to Taylor Hall.
Avs target another bottom 6 player.

Lindholm extends for 6x6 in Anaheim.
Chara gets traded to LA and signs one more year deal for next season.
Giordano wants to join Flames, gets traded to Edmonton.
There's talks for a Kubalik/Yamamoto change of scenery trade.
Korpisalo traded to Vegas for a run.

Could see WSH and BOS trading futures to go for it during the last Ovi/Backstrom, Bergeron/Marchand years. Same thing for PIT, but they have been mentioned in several rumor threads already. They all will be looking for depth scoring IMO.

EDM will be an interesting animal, they don t want to waste even one year of the McDavid era and that could push them towards adding a defenseman, a 2nd/3rd line forward and a goalie. But on the other hand they could just admit that they are not ready for this year.

FLA should be done (after Giroux maybe ?), TBL could try to go 3 for 3 and find a way to trade that 1st for a new Coleman (I think it could make sense given how strong they are)

CAR and NYR are interesting cases because they have young teams, no pressure to trade futures per se but I could see one of the 2 saying “well we have a great prospect pool already, 2022 is not that deep (from what I read even though I am not 100% in agreemnt with that), so there is not much harm in trading a late 1st to give us a better chance vs more experienced teams“

I 100% expect TOR to make a move (goalie or defensive Dman) but I fear that the more they wait the less likely it is that it will be a good one

The West is a mess and I believe except CGY they all could try to make various moves, VGK for a goalie, DAL for both Defense and Offense in the playoff race (VAN WPG staying put), LAK, NSH minor trades (even through here again with a great season from Doughty Kopitar Duchene Josi you could argue there is a potential Cinderella story), COL STL MIN I have no idea.
