Rollins is good for one half decent pop per night (usually his first segment) but they keep trotting him out there with awful material, and he’s not a good enough promo to get it over.

Heck of a talent in the ring. But it’s not translating with live crowds unfortunately.

I wanted it too, but King Corbin has a certain ring to it, typically the gimmick works best with a heel, and Corbin has actually been above average in terms of entertainment for the last month or two. I still hate the guy.

He was far more overused back in 2015. He was a heel, but seeing him so much just made it annoying.

I don’t think it will ever get to that level. Cena gets the back and forth because he’s Superman and people got tired of it...but still respect the guys talents. Rollins isn’t even close.

It took a long time for people to come around on Cena. Probably 2013, and then again when he was doing the US open challenges in 2015. Then he left, and Roman was being thrust in the spot and people really started to miss Cena (“we want Cena” chants at TLC 2015).
