The most tear-inducing promo since Mark Henry was crying while reciting his poem for Owen.
Yep, that one strikes me as well. Also, Benoit on Eddie during the RAW got me badly too.

So this whole time, WWE was right for keeping him out.
Makes you think.
Was never his biggest fan. But god damn, he was great at what he did. He's changed the wrestling culture.
Flair got a sendoff, and now Bryan. Could Taker or Cena get anything close to this when they retire?

I wish they made the roster come out on TV not on the network.
I hate to say it but vince looked like the happiest person on stage for bryan. Wouldn't stop clapping and yes'ing for bryan.
and i know this is a silly thing to complain about but, brock really couldn't come out to cheer on bryan for a few minutes? **** staying in character or if you don't like being around other people.

I'd be shocked if Taker gave a speech.
They did the same to protect Undertaker after Owen's death, plus he might not have even been there anymore.
Too bad you weren't the last one Benoit got.

What on earth does owen's death have to do with a retirement speech?
It's not like it was blown up all over the world. He could have stayed the extra 30 mins. Just seems like a dick move.

I'm so grateful to have comeback to watching WWE in time to see Bryan's entire run in the company.
Taker supposedly left to go be with the Hart family.

Lesnar was probably waiting in the back for him.
Punk painted Lesnar as a pretty down to earth guy, just one that liked to be with smaller groups of people.
If they are willing to protect someone's character when one of their roster died they'd certainly be willing to do it for an early retirement. You need to calm down buddy.
