I think so. There are just two teams in Metro which are separated- Devils and Rangers. For Atlantic I expect Florida, Boston, Leafs and Tampa. We will fight for wild card spot, 5th in Atlantic. We are not worse that Detroit, Ottawa or Buffalo.

I think it will be proven very shortly. Canes lost 2 top 4 D in Skjei and Pesce plus 2 top 6 forwards in Teravainen and Guentzel. Burns is 39 and Staal 36, they will not get better.
Devils struggled due to their goaltending. Now they have Markstrom- Allen duo. Plus Hamilton, Pesce, but no significant losses.

This will always be a challenge for Hutson in the D zone. Expecting it to be smooth is ignorance. His offensive ability is not in question but he has to mature in the D zone. Other teams are going to focus on him more and more.

I think he is up for the challenge. Takes time. Poor Savard is going to be dragged down and fans will say he is in massive decline now.
