Why? I think that would f*** up both of them.

The spacing is off on the top line. Dubois won't stretch it out and will create more traffic and Kopitar has always played better with wingers in closer proximity.

Byfield is a center, pure and simple. He needs players who are looking to get up ice quickly, and frankly Fiala would play the same no matter who is on his line.

Going to bed hoping we at least get an OTL outta this. Not optimistic though.

Pretty much.

Only reason this game is close is because their goaltending was as bad as ours before they made the change.

The trajectory right now is heading for a 6-4 loss

Re Kempe - in the year he broke out (21/22) he only had 2 points in his first 8 games. I remember it well, it was the dark before the dawn. Last year he came out firing right away 6 pts in 4 games, then had like 3 points in 12 games.. he's streaky just have to remind ourselves.

i think the problem is more easily solved by moving kempe down for a bit, can't f*** with the PLD/fiala or danault/moore duos, they're too hot

not sure if putting byfield on an offwing really solves anything
PLD and Fiala are hot?

Where? Laferriere has one goal, Dubois has really just had one productive period so far. Fiala is a one man band.

Yeah some said he could become elite. A far cry from you moaning about it for the last 5 pages, but you do you I guess.
I appreciate that you fact checked my post and agree that the word elite was uses in the same sentence as describing Byfield. Thanks dad.

Imagine the Kings with a ~25 million dollar line that couldn’t f*** its way out of a paper bag. I’m here for it, upstairs in bed, asleep.

maybe hot wasn't the right word but i think they strongly complement each other

foxy seems to have missed the boat about the whole outscore your problems concept

You think maybe he got a little shaken up on that hit from behind? Maybe in the last preseason game or first game of the season I cant remember…

Seems more are more like another first round pick is going to another team to fix the goalie situation that Blake has been negligent to.

I'll agree in the sense that I think Byfield would likely play better with talented scoring wingers as he is plays wing like a playmaking center, but PLD on 1st line left wing is crazy.

lol, the Byfield crosscheck goes unpunished. Love it. And I love seeing it from Byfield especially.

That should have been evened up though in the box, lol.
