Chicago is worse, but yeah the Sharks are bad.I knew you would come in here and fellate the Sharks. You did it last time. Only you.
This team STINKS. They had one win in their last 12 games before beating the Lightning the other night.
This shit ass team is still on pace for 62 points and 25 wins. That's still last in the league I think?
I'm not gonna rip Grier, that was by design that the team was to be bad this year. That was no accident. But to champion this year's Sharks is really sad.
I know Bastian and Lazar were good today but you just can't play them that late in the third if you're Keefe. His game management with lines is pretty dog shit and was one of the things Leafs fans were probably right about with him.
They didn't play well enough to deserve a point, if they had gotten it we would all be relieved because we all know damn well the Sharks outplayed us.lol come on. This wins hyperbole of the year award. They didn't play well but they played well enough to get a point and they didn't get it.
Not sure if anyone here listens to the Devils Insiders podcast. The two seem to revel in trashing former Devils like Mike Grier and Billy Guerin.
While the success of the Wild has been well documented, it's tough to not see good things with the young talent the Sharks are starting to accumulate.
Somehow I just had a feeling the Sharks would find a way to win this game.
Pulling a RangersDoggo if we lose this
I’ve been a Devils fan since I was 11 until tonight. Simply put, they are a team content with being bottom five on an annual basis. If a team that I’ve put so much time, money, and emotion into isn’t going to put a modicum of effort in return, what choice do I have? LET’S GO CAPS!!!!!!!!I for one was not emotionally prepared for such a shocking hypothetical betrayal.

would not be surprised if it was from the candidness postgame of the coach on the Necas call combined with Noesen saying "idk what goaltender interference is anymore"There has to be something going on between us and the refs, the only we get PPs is if it's automatic or we've been assaulted.
I hate the Sharks now. I don't support them at all.We walk away with 2 pts on the season against Anaheim and SJ. Loser ass team.

that was a true Zebra specialSeigs made a great play on that actually. Picked the guys pocket, played it off the wall to himself and had Bastian waiting for the puck for an easy out but the f***ing ref blocked it.

How many times now has this team failed to squeeze a point out of games they didn't play well in?
They'll likely get their defensive shit back together but that third line and the team's propensity to become offensively inept for large chunks of time is a big f***ing problem.

Right now, they're not good enough. With some good adds to the bottom 6 I think they can get there. It's pretty much a toss up for me with which team is better, especially at their best. I feel like this version of the team plays a more responsible and sustainable brand of hockey though.
I think it is the worst loss. It's one thing to play poorly and lose to a good LA team. It's also OK to have one game against a shit team like Anaheim where you blow it with a few minutes left.
It's a completely different thing when you follow up those two games by playing like dogshit against a last place team, still have a chance to salvage a point, and instead blow it less than a minute left in regulation.
If this was an isolated game ok, but the fact that it's the exclamation point on a four game losing streak...this is really ugly. Uglier than anything we've seen in a several years I'd argue, given expectations.
It’s called having a 30% PP.There has to be something going on between us and the refs, the only we get PPs is if it's automatic or we've been assaulted.
Luckily this is a fake concept that doesn’t mean anythingUnable to win more than three in a row. A couple of four game losing streaks. Large stretches where scoring goals is extremely difficult. A third line that has actively become a liability. Unable to win consistently at home. This doesn't scream contender to me right now.
something has to change with our lineup or else this will simply be a learning year on how to win in regular season and make the playoffs.Unable to win more than three in a row. You dont think the bottom 6 needs to be upgraded for playoffs? One 5 v 5 goal vs San Jose and we're still blaming the "bottom six".
It would seem that would be the least of the Devils' problems.
