Hey, if we don't get it turned around today then there's always another humpty team (and the worst goaltender in the league) on Monday!
They're not quite as much of a humpty team as these two California teams, but at least they're no Capitals!

Until I realized she was talking about the Devils and not the Sharks.

Ironically the 4th line is doing really good so far today, they legit generated almost all of this teams chances last period, minus a few from Jack.
If you switched dougie and luke's roles in that play you'd still be saying it was dougies fault
Time to stop making excuses for Dougie constantly leaving his goalie out to dry.
Nope. If Luke did something stupid like that I'd call him out. Good thing he rarely does.

I never understand this logic...maybe for a couple of games but why would you continue to think you're hot shit when you're getting your ass kicked for like the fourth game in a row?
This is what people said last year too before the wheels fell off completely and people realized they just stink.
This appears to be a combo of the top guys going in the cooler offensively with other teams taking advantage of our weaknesses in the bottom six and guys like Dougie.
Except luke also played that poorly and there was not a single acknowledgement of it in here.
Last couple of games was rough for them (as if was for the whole team) but before that they were pretty consistently stretching together good games. Not getting even slight goal support from them sucks but they also generally control play in their minutes and at least don't hurt you defensively.

It's a pretty small sample size, but they last 4 games have been pretty meh. Not horribad hockey, but you just feel like they're going through the motions. I'm not very concerned.
Like tonight, I'm liking their offense. The 4th line even looks solid. But they have to tighten up defensively.

This is an evenly player period against one of the better team's in the league. This is a shit period against the Sharks.
Outshot them 12-11? Big f***in deal. They've been so bad in many of their games that even when the goalie is playing good he has to face 40, 45, 48, 52 shots.
So as far as I'm concerned, that was a pathetic period.
Especially for a team that's lost 3 in a row.

Probably going to need Jack and Nico take extra shifts in place Haula. Have Bratt take some shifts in place of Bastian. Do something to get extra scoring depth to start a game.
I agree, and thats a bad sign. when ur fourth line is your "most noticeable" line then you are in for a long night
