Not that surprising. He's already shut them down twice this season and apparently the offense hasn't learned anything from it. Not going to get far without hitting AND pitching. Complete non factors.

I was against Cole if it included Torres/Andujar, but looking at how they all performed, with hindsigh, I would be willing to have given up Andujar for him.

As for Torres, wouldn't even move him for deGrom.
 
I'd kick the tires on Eduardo Escobar.

Can hit lefty, hits for average.

Move Andujar to first.

I think we can also look into another lefty hitter in LF.
 
More so than acquisitions, I just think this team needs a very different HC.

There's already good hitters on this team. They just need to act like good hitters.

Torres has the potential to be a weapon that does absolutely everything like a Mookie Betts, but ever since he started hitting homers, that's all he cares about.

That too. I've been badmouthing Thames for awhile and some in here blew it off.

LMFAO yea hitting coach isnt the problem at all! We only swing for the fences every pitch. Heavy hacks. Definitely not on Thames at all.

What a f***ing joke. A joke. Didi with a double. Stanton takes a big hack with 2-0 (bat might have already been broken)...and Voit is just donkey hacking away instead of shortening up and spraying a ball to get the run in.

Story of the year for this team. Difference in the series.

Game would have a different feel at 3-1.

Unfortunately, Zach "Doesn't give up many homers" Britton had to give up one to a guy who hasn't hit one since pee wee.
