Their offense has been kind of meh this postseasonCan't see Houston having another game as quiet as the one today.
Remember when Blue Jays wanted Torres for Stroman?
Good times

He has had an impact the way that O'Neil did. Obviously different players, but such a pro. No complaining, plays whatever position he is told to play and plays it well. And I had no idea just how good of a hitter he was. Reading about him in fantasy baseball is quite different than watching him play.leMahieu factor. Lead by example
the Andujar injury was the best thing that could've happened to the team.Guys like Gleyber and Gio too.
Only Devers and Merrifield had more hits than DJ.
If they keep on swinging for homers instead of basehits, then they will never win. They're due I guess is my point
I would not say the best thing. Andujar is a player and a good one. I will say that what DJL has one is forced his way into the conversation as far as the future of both Andujar and Voit is concerned. If he has another solid year next year, he will force the Yankees hand as far as an extension goes. That means that one of Andujar or Voit will be on the way out. Or both and Frazier can play a lot and Stanton can DH a good amount of games.the Andujar injury was the best thing that could've happened to the team.
We'd still have errors galore and horrible range at 3B if he's healthy. Urshella probably on another team.

Hicks may need Tommy John and is a walking injury waiting to happen. Signing him long term was dumb. He can't stay on the field.I'd keep Voit and trade Andujar. He had a .390 OBP before his injury, he is good when healthy.
Our outfield will be Gardner-Hicks-Judge next season, with Stanton being primary DH.
Andujar has no spot here now or moving forward. He is not good enough to be a starting Yankee player.
Absolutely not. His contract is a bargain. At the time, he was off of 3.9 WAR in 88 games and 4.7 WAR in 137 games seasons. He was performing as pretty much a top 5 player in his position.Hicks may need Tommy John and is a walking injury waiting to happen. Signing him long term was dumb. He can't stay on the field.
Doesn't matter if he can't stay on the field. Since he's been a Yankee he's had two oblique injuries, a back injury and now an elbow injury. Those are just off the top of my head. He's missed significant time with each of them.Absolutely not. His contract is a bargain. At the time, he was off of 3.9 WAR in 88 games and 4.7 WAR in 137 games seasons. We need to win one of those four games. We should win games 4 and 5 at the stadium with those guys not being on the mound. We still have to go though Verlander/Cole combo 4 times. As good as Verlander has been, Cole has been even better. Big mountain to climb.
Believe what you want, but not good enough to be a Yankee? Absolutely asinine. Take a look at his numbers from a historical prospective. Now tell me how many infielders have had the same impact. Want to trade him? Fine. But not good enough to be a a Yankee? I invite you to take a look at history.Andujar has no spot here now or moving forward. he is not good enough for our roster anymore. He is the worst defender in baseball by far.Believe what you want, but not good enough to be a Yankee? Absolutely asinine.
