@darko pls

Just threw up in my mouth.

The Mets signed 3rd round pick, Matt Allan, a player expected to be a 1st round selection that fell to the 3rd, due to signability issues. They got the three big fish they wanted - Allan, Brett Baty and Josh Wolf.

He was going top-10 if it wasn't for signability issues. Arguably the best pitcher in the draft. This is a big get.

While the Wilpons remain in charge, I'm having a really difficult time getting excited about these kinds of things.

The entire Mets bullpen could take the mound and throw at the same time and the opposing batter would still rope every single pitch

Why in the world was Vargas taken out of that game with 77 pitches? I continue to he amazed they haven’t fired Callaway

It feels more frustrating than ever. Don’t know why.

This is a really likable team. With the exception of Cano. McNeil, Alonso, Smith, Conforto, Nimmo. Had a good solid core there. Totally wasting it away as usual.

People are getting on Vargas for yelling at Callaway.

Vargas is a nice guy for just yelling at him. I would have f***ing slapped him.

I get that. But still, what even is Callaway?

Taking a guy out at 77 pitches to go to that bullpen is like leaving your studio apartment because it's too small and moving into a ****ing toaster.

Watching him this season, and tying together some of the recent news, I don't think he's making any of these decisions.

That's why you're seeing him blow up lately. Pure frustration for taking bullets on stuff he's not doing.

I'm not saying it as a defense of his managing. He's a bad manager. I just think there's more to it than we realized.
