It was Freddy ****ing Galvis. If you can't get Galvis out you don't deserve to be in majors.
Well I don't disagree with that.

But let's say you encountered a large bear. You've read in the news for weeks about bear attacks. And then the bear proceeds to kill two people right in front of you. And you say to yourself "well, he hasn't mauled me yet, so I'm just gonna sit tight."

That's Aaron Boone.

I hope you never run into any bears.

I wrestled a salt water croc one time. Bears don't scare me.

Paxton is really disappointing me so far in his Yankee career.

Coming into today he had the lowest FIP and xFIP out of any our starters. However he does seem to be a bit inconsistent. The inconsistency might just be a factor of his low ground ball percentage - a couple of long fly balls, like today, and the game gets away from him quickly.

Seems like he's giving up runs early in games a lot. Perhaps they need to adjust his bullpen routine.

Hard to argue there. Just checked the splits and his numbers for the first 25 pitches of the game are just brutal.

The Mets signed 3rd round pick, Matt Allan, a player expected to be a 1st round selection that fell to the 3rd, due to signability issues. They got the three big fish they wanted - Allan, Brett Baty and Josh Wolf.
