Ok, Kahnle apparently died (RIP) and Chapman is banged up.

Where's Robertson? Where's Betances?

If we're losing a game, even if it's by one run, Boone just says "f*** it lmao" and brings in bad pitchers.

Reading some posts here, you would think the Yankees became the bad news bears.its pretty funny.

We know the pitching is hurting right now.i refuse to get depressed over 1 bad outing though..unlike a few others

I really think we had a chance in this game if we went to major league pitching instead of Cole.

Somehow, Boone will be absolved of any and all blame by the usual suspects. He's perfect.

Casey Stengel could manage this team and the results would be the same.We are paper thin in the rotation right now and its starting to burn our relievers out.

You're right, even with Casey Stengel I don't think we're winning this division.

That doesn't mean I'm going to sit here silently while Boone single-handedly wins a game for the Mets.

Oh look classic MH hyperbole. No one said Boone is perfect but calling him out for Kahnle being in minors is idiotic.

I said before the season started that it's a bit of a tricky year. Last year's team played with zero expectations and surprised everyone. This year's team played with massive expectations since day 1 of Spring Training. Playing with expectations is a two edged sword.

Boone cant keep throwing out our big guns daily. He needs to get something out of Holder and Cole when needed. These are the games you want them pitching in,Cole just didnt get it done.

You have yet to criticize Boone even once since he was hired. Not once.

Ok I'll start. He can play favorites. He mismanages the pen at times. He's far from perfect. He's a rookie manager who is deal well. The only reason people bash Boone and praise Cora is because Boston had just about everything go right for them. Also Cora has bit of an advantage because he was a bench coach in Houston.

None of the big guns pitched yesterday. It's just his paradigm to go to bad pitching when we're losing. He's done it all year. He almost never goes to the big guns to keep a deficit where it's at regardless of how much they've been used.

Cora has a bit of an advantage because he's done this before at any point in his life? How about that!

It's 'days on ML roster in a season . They don't count after September 1st. Whether they call him up Sept 1st or not they'll have to wait til May next season.

Nope, those days still count even after September.

What you need to know about September callups

"Yes, September promotions still count towards the service time Major Leaguers accrue towards arbitration and free agent eligibility."

And if our offense didnt resemble swiss cheese tonight with 12 strikeouts, and Severino went deeper then 4 innings,we probably wouldnt even be having this discussion right now.

Of course. Again, there's always other factors at play besides the manager.

And again, that doesn't absolve the manager from managing like he's never watched baseball in his life.

So am I from my couch, that doesn't mean I'm qualified for the job. That's something Boone and I have in common.

Boone isn't delusional and isn't prone to hyperbole. That's something you don't have in common.
