Yeah. Although yesterday they had Skenes. Those games are always going to be difficult to some degree. The game got stupid on both sides for sure.

Another thing is they need to have Vientos DH full time. Dude sucks at 3B. Play Baty at 3B, Vientos at DH, and then I guess McNeil and Acuna split time at 2B. Or McNeil is the DH against righties that give Vientos problems. Just don't have Vientos play in the field.

Vientos is like Key Miller. His gaffes look horrible. But he's actually gotten better defensively.
 
A few years ago I thought the Mets had a gluttony with Baty, Vientos and Mauricio. But all three have been stuck in a perpetual state of “c’mon do something.” If one emerges as a reliable regular I would be happy. Vientos is all tools no toolbox. Baty is a toolbox without tools. And Mauricio is always injured. I can see them packaging Baty for an arm at the deadline.

Hard to blame Vientos too much when the ball goes through his glove. Happened to me when I was a kid so I know how it feels. :naughty:
