Yeah this is the dumbest idea ever.
This isn’t America’s Got Talent. The extra innings runner on 2nd rule is dumb enough, don’t need this shit too.
That's as bad as the DH rule -- probably worse....similar to softball's in and out ruleYeah this is the dumbest idea ever.

Geez. Removing strategy is really gonna make the game more exciting and interesting.
I mean, if you enjoy watching people hit .140, you always have the White Sox.That's as bad as the DH rule
Sorry -- but I've hated the DH since its inception -- and in today's "homer or KO" style of play, I would venture to say there are more .140 regulars than ever before.I mean, if you enjoy watching people hit .140, you always have the White Sox.
I was being nice. Pitchers hit .103 and slugged .140 the last time they hit.Sorry -- but I've hated the DH since its inception -- and in today's "homer or KO" style of play, I would venture to say there are more .140 regulars than ever before.

I fondly remember the days when a good number of pitchers could actually hit.I was being nice. Pitchers hit .103 and slugged .140 the last time they hit.

Define your definition of a good number because woof, overall they were always bad except, of course, for a few outliers.I fondly remember the days when a good number of pitchers could actually hit.
The lack of knowledge is shocking. Many MLB pitchers were some of the best athletes and hitters on their pre-MLB teams.... For me, I'd rather pitchers spend their time concentrating on what they do best and what got them to MLB rather than a skill, where if they stopped pitching young, they wouldn't have even been looked at in their draft as a viable position player to make it to MLB.
And yet they couldn't hit for shit in the MLB. Funny how that works. The lack of knowledge is shocking. Many MLB pitchers were some of the best athletes and hitters on their pre-MLB teams.
