Legit, how are the Yankees tied for the most wins in baseball?

It feels like they lose 2 out 3 since the end of May.

Mets seems to be back in "we suck" mode. I am more convinced than ever that they're no more than a .500 team. Might be better if they don't get that wild card spot.
Pretty inexcusable to be outplayed 22-1 over 3 games in Seattle. Feast or famine offense and the team wilts almost every time it goes up against quality pitching.

Cashman actually gave a quote that there’s “no lane” for Dominguez this year. So I guess he has no idea they’re trotting out a sub 1 WAR outfielder every day

If they won even half of the games they've blown or shouldve won they would be so far ahead of everyone in the league, its so weird - but there have been a few teams like that.

That’s fine given that he’s insanely rusty coming off injury and might not even be fully healthy yet but then why is Cashman even saying that?

Soto insane game, hilarious they have no other runs though. Nice to see Nestor have a much needed great start.

Would be a killer to lose Jazz to Tommy John surgery, hopefully it’s not that bad, he’s been great.

I give Stearns a pass for getting bamboozled by July, because he’s new here and not yet familiar with how the Mets Met.

Judge and Soto have 75 homers combined with 41 games remaining. If they average 1 homer per game they will break mantle/maris record of 115 by teammates.

The Grimace-Pimp-OMG-whatever else bubble of magic that the Mets were living in popped, I think, when Senga tried to run to first base. That was just a huge blow, to the rotation, to the collective psyche, to the group's confidence, that took a while to foment but knew was going to manifest eventually.

It's the second law of themodynamets. It's a statistical tendency for the mets to screw up even if they manage to get it together for short periods.

They've see-sawed all year...going from horrid to torrid back to horrid, etc....there really has been no in between.
