After getting swept by Florida, I think this series says more about the Nationals than the Mets.

The Nats bullpen is shockingly bad. Doolittle is the only one that can get anyone out, and they stacked righties against him.

What I really enjoyed was the exuberance of Carlos Gomez on the Lagares double. That was a guy just happy to still be playing in the Majors.

And the Davis HR was just the icing on the cake. So many feel good moments in that 8th inning, especially considering we're coming off the lowest point in the season against Miami and our team is slowly disintegrating and landing on the DL.
