Really refreshing to not give away deflating runs due to poor D, particularly in the IF
Andujar has just been awful top to bottom. The minor league stint made it clear he wasn't ready. With the way Urshella is playing, there was absolutely no reason to rush him.

I missed the initial back and forth btw Paddack and Alonso cause I was traveling. But christ what a baby Paddack is. Complaining over who won NL rookie of the month. Lol.

Alonso seems to be subtly pissing people off. Baseball players are always very upset. It's great.

Probably just adding a chip to the shoulder to boost performance, athletes are childish like that 'I'll show you NL Rookie of the Month!!!'.

Soooo true about all the whining and complaining from MLB players. All the bitching about not being paid what they deserve blah blah blah, just wait until its time to renegotiate or try to convince your very well compensated peers to sacrifice their $ for you and go on strike for a new deal. So tired of all the woe is me coming from MLB. Teams finally realized it's better to pay less for more production, what a concept.

And then the unwritten rules crap 'celebrating too hard' don't flip the bat it makes me feeeellll baaaad jfc. Get them out at the plate next time and ask them where's the bat flip now buddy, after the strikeout to shut them up and then move on. Throwing at people is dangerous and risks serious injury. A too rambunctious of a celebration is hardly reason to risk someone's livelihood. In hockey if someone shows you up with a celebration or whatever, they'll challenge them asap and usually go after them right then and there and start a scrum. Pushing shoving, hard words, maybe a punch to send a message. Generally no blind side cheap shots or sticks chops to unprotected areas. Should be the same in MLB. Don't like the celebration and want to do something about it? Say something to the guy right then and there and think about challenging the player to stand up for it. It's better than throwing 90+ mph fastball at the guy.
