You don't read very well, do you?Ah, yes. Average goal scoring is 30 goals. That's why 900 players scored less than that this season.

Matthews' health is a concern, but he may well return to form. Some of you guy's are wild.. We're literally a top 5 team in the league taking the two-time champs to game 7. If it ever clicks for Mitchy and Matty's health we've been right there. Hell.. If our goalie stayed healthy we may of won with this group and then our team makeup would've been better suited going into the 3rd and 4th rounds.
Weren't charges withdrawn?
Anyone who thinks mitch was ran out of town is absolutely delusional.
The dildo of consequences rarely comes lubed. Never seen a more unlikeable star. Oh I want to win I care so much, I care too much? So hit someone you big soft dumb dumb. Do something. Or are you only tough during negotiations?
Also I wouldn't negotiate with a single ferris client. f*** that guy.
This market and this management team.If it wasn’t money what was it
They failed to sign him last offseason when he was interested in doing so, and then instead of being patient and respecting his choice to focus on the season, they alienated him, put public pressure on him, and created a media circus at the deadline for no reason. How did they screw up the chance to sign him
We will unquestionably be worse than we could have been, and we're extremely likely to be worse than we are now, unless we have some prospects excel way beyond expectations or something.I doubt it will be a worse team
No specific player is a prerequisite for a cup, but making a team worse certainly doesn't get them closer to winning, and given our situation, it will be extremely hard to get back to cup caliber after losing a massive part of our team for nothing. If losing him hurts future cup potential how have the last 100 or so cup winners managed without Marner.
I don't see Marner signing for anything that we shouldn't have been willing to offer. What if Marner was not willing to move off of his ask and the Leafs were not willing to move off of their offering.
Marner isn't going to fail to secure a deal. He'll get signed. If that is your criteria for Treliving failure then it should also apply to Marners failure to secure a deal
Most likely it will not match regular season Marner, but will exceed post game 86 Marner by miles. As unpromising as it looks, I really hope the Leafs re-sign Marner. Losing him -- who I believe is the team's most talented player -- is going to leave a massive massive hole. I'll hold off complete judgement until we see how the money is redistributed, but I have my doubts the sum of the parts will match Marner.
Valid concern for sure.As unpromising as it looks, I really hope the Leafs re-sign Marner. Losing him -- who I believe is the team's most talented player -- is going to leave a massive massive hole. There's an avalanche of evidence that continues to suggest that it's not going to click for Marner here, and to continue to believe otherwise is foolish and childish. It's not grounded in anything other than "blind dumb hope".Some of you guy's are wild.. We're literally a top 5 team in the league taking the two-time champs to game 7. I suggest with Marner leaving that someone that has the ability should put a highlight montage of ALL of Marner's career playoff goals together on a Youtube video.
It won't take long because there are only 13 of them and so it be only a short video.
Hate for a decade of Marner greatest scoring feats being lost to time, without a record or an ability for Leaf fans to reflect back on his immense accomplishments towards Leafs Stanley Cup aspirations.
I can help narrow down the search as Marner scored in game #1 against Boston in 2018-19 and his next goal didn't come again until game #1 against 2021-22, some 3 years later, where he went 18 playoff games over 3 playoff seasons without contributing a single goal against CBJ in 2019-20 nor Montreal in 2020-21 (so no need to search any film during those lean playoff years for Toronto).
Don't bother checking in games #5, #6 or #7 in any series in any year for a Marner goal as that sadly never occurred. When Leafs needed him most he was nowhere to be seen.
I look forward to watching the video if any is willing to take up the task.
Leafs let the wrong Leaf player go.As unpromising as it looks, I really hope the Leafs re-sign Marner. I have no confidence that the Leafs will properly spend that extra cap space. I don't trust Treliving. I don't think he's a good GM.As unpromising as it looks, I really hope the Leafs re-sign Marner. It was that there was a low probability of successful prosecution. There was nothing at all reported about Marner not showing up, refusing to go to court not wanting to press charges, or even him being on the road. But were the charges withtdrawn because the victim didn't show up in court?
Twitter is just a bunch of LEAFS FANS vs MITCH'S BITCHES, and then a random video of CHINESE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS WATCH AS IRANIAN MISSILE BARRAGE HEADS TOWARDS ISRAELHonestly, I gotta thank Marner, his offseason drama is distracting me from world drama.
It will be interesting to see just how many points he can rack up on a PP that does not have 3 40+ goalscorers. Marner is more or less guaranteed to have a drop off in point totals regardless of where he goes. The question will be, by how much?
I know this is an age where accuracy means little in communication...But we didn't take the two-time Champs to Game 7. We took the defending Cup champs to Game 7...in a way that a fisherman takes a great white shark fishing. We were mauled in Games 5 and 7. We didn't so much take the Panthers anywhere except by surprise until they remembered who they are. Some of you guy's are wild.. I certainly hope you are right0% chance he signs with the Leafs.
We have been waiting for 7-8 years for those two to figure it out in the hard critical games. They have not yet done it all the while commanding huge contracts and Marners expectations for his next contract are beyond absurd. Some of you guy's are wild..
