I don't think it was ever brought up, but I feel like Marner made a somewhat huge mistake not considering the thought of becoming a full time Centre IMO. All his play-driving and playmaking just seems sort've useless on the wing ngl

He's more of a centre than Matthews at times

lol... why would a veteran player who is known for his hockey IQ make a Triple A pass to no one in the neutral zone in Game Five of a playoff series against the defending Cup Champs? That play was terrible and he's really struggled offensively in this series. He can't control the puck like he used to and seems to have lost quite a bit of speed and shiftiness.

I don't know how much of it is because of Berube's system, but this guy really struggles with puck possession nowadays. He seems to have a hard time making skillful plays with the puck when he gets pressured by good defensive teams.

You haven't seen the past playoffs for how many years now? It's not Berube.
