Mitch Marner, Continued

Anyway, he's having a great season to date.
For some reason there are those that hate to see it.
He is, and I hope he has the bets playoffs of his career! I don't hate to see it at all, I cheer for our team, and he is currently an integral part of it.

The discussion being had was about fitting him into the cap structure, and whether that was prudent given the history of the core. He is only on the chopping block because he is a UFA.

That could be argued, sorry if I derailed the discussion, I thought it was applicable to this case.

I think Dekes, Francis, etc., are intelligent individuals. They bring up solid points a lot of the time, even if I disagree with how they apply the data, or look at the overall situation. This is a forum for discourse about a team and the players on it, that's what we are doing. What "insights" do you deem worthy? Kind of condescending statement you made there.

I've made plenty of points over the years about the team and its players. It has also evolved over the years in part thanks to the discussions that take place here. If you're tired of it may I suggest not clicking on the thread?

I can admit I’ve been trying to look at the Marner situation from a more neutral stance these days. I absolutely feel playoffs should dictate a lot. If we get dummied something has to change and Marner is the easiest change. Even if I personally believe it would make the team worse I would it agree it might be the right change
