Well, Briere could’ve been POHO. They wouldn’t hire Dubas or Tulsky or anyone of that ilk with Jones as POHO and Tortorella as Voice of God. The Flyers don’t have a clearly defined hierarchy anyway. Their entire front office was hired only by decree of the first year coach.
