The player behind him should've punched him in the head. I hate this fake tough guy stick smash nonsense.

He irritated me so much when watching Giroux on the Panthers. So painfully similar to Provorov.
I have absolutely no doubt that he’s going to. They’re going to act as if they’re innovative and transparent. He's not really going to be on our broadcasts still, right? It's shocking that I have to even ask, but here we are.
The NBA has never had two Conference Final sweeps and I think it's only ever happened in the NHL once (1992).I wanted Carolina and Dallas to win, but t would be cool if all four Conference Finals in the NBA and NHL were sweeps. That can't have ever happened before.
And 1972 in the post-expansion era.The NBA has never had two Conference Final sweeps and I think it's only ever happened in the NHL once (1992).
There's a certain segment of people on hfcanes who are losing their shit over the lack of scoring like we didn't have two 30+ goal scorers go down with freak leg injuries this season. Every game has been decided by one goal, so it's not like we're getting blown out of the building.Carolina has outplayed them in every game. Toronto largely did too. Bob is the force.

I'm just finding it hard to get angry over. I'm more impressed by what's shaping up to be an all time great performance by Bob.
Every year, somebody gets goalied. This year, it's Carolina (and Toronto, and to a lesser extent Boston). You never can tell who's going to do it, goalies are voodoo and randomly Ken Wregget will be Ken Dryden for a week or two, but it happens. Best you can do is shake your head and appreciate the outstanding performance.Carolina has outplayed them in every game. Toronto largely did too. Bob is the force.

Carolina isn't shitting the bed in the slightest way. Not even a fart, much less a shart. Bob has finally decided that he's going to flex the full potential of his considerable talent right now.

Speaking of things that I don't think have ever happened before..
The Florida Panthers currently have 3 of the top 4 picks from the 2014 Draft in their lineup (Ekblad, Reinhart, Bennett). I glanced over a bunch of different drafts and couldn't find any more than 2 in the same lineup. Anyone know if this has happened before?
there are plenty of delicous Flyers tears on social media about "why did we trade Bob" currently..Carolina isn't shitting the bed in the slightest way. Not even a fart, much less a shart. Bob has finally decided that he's going to flex the full potential of his considerable talent right now.
Has there ever been 4 sweeps in the NBA and NHL conference finals in the same year? It’s possible this year
Sportsnet mentioned that the odds on betting 4 series sweeps before the conference finals began was 88000-1. Prior to yesterday's games it had dropped to 62-1.I wanted Carolina and Dallas to win, but it would be cool if all four Conference Finals in the NBA and NHL were sweeps. That can't have ever happened before.
Burns has stood out as disappointing, but overall Carolina is perfectly fine. Bob is doing historic outlier thingsI'd likely be the same kind of player that smashes and breaks sticks after important games that were losses.
Jordan Staal has been garbage. I'm not that impressed with Brent Burns either.
Carolina goaltending has allowed 6 goals in 3 games a little over 13 periods. That is elite goaltending. It’s just that Bob is another stratosphere.
I love random bits like this. The closest I can figure out was Picks 3, 4, and 5 in the '97 draft all playing together on the 99-00 Islanders. That was Olli Jokinen, Luongo, and Eric Brewer when he wasn't in the AHL.
This team's story? Spread one's cheeks and push air through. And if it's his job to tell their story, what better way?
