Wine's a bit funky for Western tastes (every house has a trestle with grape vines, however).
But the food is excellent, there's a couple nice restaurants in NE Philly for those who want to try it out.

Seconded. There's Georgian cuisine in Latvia also and it's amazing, [Sorry for extended off-topic in this thread]

I still can’t believe somebody had the balls to put a hockey team in 1970s Georgia and name it after General Sherman torching the capital. Really makes you wonder why that franchise didn't work out.



Although that is one of my favorite historical domino effects. Abraham Lincoln wins the American presidential election in 1860. Fast forward to 1980, and we've got a professional hockey in Calgary, Alberta called the Flames.
