There are a fair amount of fans that could learn to hate this organization if this happened.
I think there's a lot of fans already there and I seem to speeding to the same destination.

It's this sort of shit that makes me fearful that Giroux is not part of their future plans. Kevin Hayes, 24/7. I don't mind spreading the exposure around, and I get you're probably going to want to put some spotlight on the big free agent acquisition, even if we're going into his third season here. But Giroux has become less than an afterthought from what I've seen. It's concerning.
Will be funny when, g and jake boot the flyers, out of the playoffs in two years.

Tennis is great. The girlfriend and I play. She kicks my ass every time

My wife has an old friend who is a fantastic tennis player. She's built like a shotput thrower and has the running speed of a sloth. It doesn't matter. She's always exactly where you're going to hit the ball, assuming you can even get to the thing to return it. It's like playing against a Jedi.

TSN reports Powers going back to school. Can’t think of any reason the first overall pick would do that unless he is forcing a trade. That’s a big risk financially if he was to suffer a career altering injury.

There was already a rumor of him going back even before he was drafted.

pretty rare...only 2nd time in over 20 years

Sabres' No. 1 pick Owen Power to return to Michigan for sophomore season

Since 2000, only one No. 1 draft pick did not make an immediate jump to the NHL: defenseman Erik Johnson spent one season at the University of Minnesota after his selection by the St. Louis Blues in 2006. Alex Ovechkin had to wait a year in 2004 because the NHL lockout delayed his debut in North America.

He can get paid while in college now. That will offset some of it.

Edit: Hell, I’m not sure of the particulars but he could cut deals with businesses around Michigan and Buffalo.

My gf played in high school and club in college, so she's pretty good, but it also doesn't help the fact that I am not. My footwork is terrible, so she usually just hits the ball at my feet like a dick. Or if I try to hit a shot while running, it automatically goes right into the net

Probably doesn't want to play on the dumpster fire that is Buffalo. Don't blame him.

The #1-2 picks this year weren’t particularly good compared to normal standards. Power might be the weakest #1 pick in some time. Add in the pandemic hurting normalcy. Probably not too surprising he’s the one to buck the trend.

I think Beniers is gonna be a much better player in time.

I still can't believe Bryce Young made over a million dollars and hasn't even started a game.
