I think it’s a good fit for Toronto.

AAV is fine based on his production and the quality of players around him isn’t changing that much.

The term is a lot, but $8 mill may be below market value in a few years for PP QBs.

Absolutely dodged a bullet here. At least when they throw 10 million per at Carlson it will only be for 2 years. Or possible 3, I keep forgetting how inept this organization is.

Who’s Kucherov on the Leafs?

I think they’ll manage with Matthews and Nylander

Nylander had a higher points/60 on the PP than Kucherov last year. Toronto was 7th in GF/60 the previous two seasons. I think Matthews-Knies/McKenna-Nylander-Tavares-Raddysh won’t be much of a step down.
