The hilarious thing for me about Ovechkin is how he's utterly the opposite of Jagr.
Jagr takes extreme work, fitness, obsessive diet, nonstop exercise, and gambling debt and he converts that into hockey.
Ovechkin takes vodka, microwave pierogies, and Wingstop and converts that into 40+ goal seasons.
Can anyone tell me what he does for exercise? Besides lifting input to his mouth?

I mean, it makes the 4th pick less likely, but it also makes Buffalo jumping us less likely, so it’s not a complete disaster.
Pretty much spells end for Flames and Wolf. Bryzesotta looking at favorable matchup against Jets. Then you have Vegas who may just ease off and avoid Blues while Kings will do everything they can not to face Oilers again. Either way who cares about western conference. I just hope Habs soar past the Sens and G goes on to play metro bracket.

Imagine drafting someone like Ovechkin, that can change the future of your franchise. Can be someone you grow up with, and follow. Can be the hero for your team you love to cheer for.
We need that. I want that. Not more Cam Yorks, or Luchankos. Ever year we see beautiful talent infused into the league. I do hope Michkov becomes someone on that tier.
