Miscellaneous NHL Discussion CX: That's A Lot.

Gauthier - 41 points in 78 games, +10

Drysdale - 70 points in 212 games, -89

But the Flyers also got that 2025 2nd, currently set to be 41st overall.

The Ducks improving this season was not expected and does sting. I was expecting that pick to be near the top of the 2nd round.

Gaither has 40 points this year, and it seems like a miracle that Drysdale managed to hit 20 on the season.

Both players are horrendous on D though, so I guess that's something (I'm assuming Cutter is bad defensively, I haven't actually looked).

I don't know how we can justify keeping Torts only to loose Gauthier because he didn't want to play here. I know there are some more factors but at the end of the day it comes down to this I think :help:

I saw today that the Canadiens signed Tyler Thorpe today and the sweater in the image for the Vancouver Giants didn't look right, so I dug in a little more.

HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER SEEN THESE THINGS?

Edit: image isn't showing, so check this link - Photos: Check out these bonkers Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle jerseys the Vancouver Giants are wearing this weekend

Even funnier if they get the first pick this year and pivot to a forward over the consensus top player who is a defenseman.

@BigToe doesn’t have Schaefer in his top 5!

I’ve never watched him, and I know he’s a lot better. But I watched Levshunov, and even if he’s a useful player, that one was so obviously a bad fit pick. You can’t pay me to take a defenseman in that range whose raw skill isn’t high end, let alone average. At least Ottawa was smarter than Chicago.

Crazy to see that Montreal who was in the finals 5 years ago has Suzuki, Demidov, Slaf, Caufield, Hutson, Guhle. Carolina is welcoming Nikishin soon. Flames are welcoming Parekh tonight. Buium going to the Wild soon. Blackhawks have welcomed Lev, Rinzel and Moore recently.

We have Michkov... then Jett Luchanko and nothing else to show for how bad we've been for a decade

Sad isn’t it?

But at least as far as the Habs players we could have drafted half of those players. Probably should start with that process before this upcoming draft.
