Good

Hopefully they stop putting the Hawks in it, and tell the NFL to stop putting the Bears on primetime!!

Seriously though with Hawks awful and not even available to watch on TV to most of Chicago at this point interest in team is only diminishing
The Winter Classic is old hat at this point, a gimmick that's outworn its welcome.

The winter classic clearly needs something more creative but it’s hard to see how that happens on TNT. The time slot didn’t help but they also can’t go up against the Expanded College Football Playoff

2 Mutts hockey podcast reported in a since deleted tweet that Peterrsson has requested a trade. I have never heard of the podcast but I guess they have gotten inside track on some stuff before. Notably had Draisitl extension 24 hours before anyone else and got credit for it from Dreger.

I liked the Winter Classic until they added a bunch of Stadium Series games every year. The NHL showed their corporate, greedy, short-sighted side there and I guess there was nobody in the room to tell them that oversaturation will only lead to fatigue.
Out outdoor game a year was great. The stadium series is what killed it for me.

My idiot brain thought this was about Cal Peterson and all I could think was "Pretty bold for an AHL guy to demand a trade."

If youre not gonna tank, you gotta strike when a player like Peterrson is available.

Danny could make it happen but wont bc "culture".

I feel safe in saying Briere doesn't even inquire about what the price would be. Height actually have to make a decision on something, and that is against his style.

Yeah I agree. Jones wants go after Free Agents, not trade. They love the idea of a player choosing to come to the Flyers.

I also doubt theyd move TK or Tippett, which are the guys Van would want.

I'm all-in on Pettersson.

I would not consider Michkov available in negotiations, but Luchanko sure is fine being talked about in a trade package.

Throw the f***ing house at Vancouver.
