This is a GOOD thing.
Flyers have four young goalie prospects. Odds are one will emerge as a solid starter.
Meanwhile, like last season, bad goaltending will improve your draft position.

On the other hand, if your Anaheim or the Rangers, how bad must your team suck to be playing that bad with such good goaltending?
It's the Flyers! The only goalie they ever drafted in the last 20 years, who became a bonafide starter, is in jail now. And let's not ignore the fact that most goaltenders don't hit their prime until their mid Twenties - that would mean another 5-6 years of subpar goaltending. A competent GM wouldn't ignore reality and get a quality Veteran stopgap to take the heat away from the next generation.

Nahh. That guy moves like a 30s tractor.

Rempe only has a future if he can figure out the game a bit like Wilson.
Wilson actually has talent, Rempe is just big and stupid.

The last thing the Flyers should do is add a veteran goalie (which requires real assets), squeeze into the playoffs, hurt their draft position and hide flaws.

Last time they did that, they added Mason and Neuvirth, made the playoffs and Hextall called off the rebuild for two years.

Meh. I’d take him over the vanilla slop this team is obsessed with. Success is a pipe dream for this team anyway.

Watch other clubs to get quality hockey minutes. Flyers might as well double down on being a sideshow.
