This might be ''old person yelling at a cloud'' kind of a situation, but the latest team names (Golden Knights, Kraken, Mammoth/Wasatch) make me dry heave a bit.

Edit: having said that; Lightning, Wild, Blue Jackets - those aren't conventional names either, so it's probably just a matter of habit.
