Problem is Hudon did interfere but he got his skate out a few seconds before he poked it in. Dubnyk had time to recover before that puckwas shot in

I don't remember which game but last year a goal was allowed after a contact because the goalie had time to recover. And it was explained by the ref on the mic. I mean Dubnick makes 2 *** saves after the contact if this is not recovering i don't know what is.

but it's a 50/50 play. the advantage/right should go to the player. goals are hard to come by in the nhl. it was inconclusive on how it actually affected him, so it shouldn't be overturned. ya, he probably touched him, but he's going to the net and trying to put in his rebound.

seems like an easy goal. like i said, i don't think we're a playoff team, and I want to see the habs rebuild and move on from MB, so I don't mind the call. but, i didn't even think this could go either way. thought it was an easy good goal.

if the forward is in position, and the goalie moves into him, and stops him from making the save, it would be no goal based on this call.

it's actually pretty sad when you think about it.

They allowed a goal the other night where Shaw actually knocked the puck out of the gaolies glove and banged it in. It's just really inconsistent.

Galchenyuk scores hat trick. "SO SELFISH, guy can't pass the puck AT ALL".

There's a lot of irrational hate for Galchenyuk and Pacioretty relative to what they produce, no reason to hate but it's hard to imagine either playing a big roll on a Cup winner. Maximize their value in a trade and retool IMO.

Absolutely not. He doesn't prevent the goalie to make the save when the goal is scored. In fact Dunick makes two saves in between the contact and the goal. If Lehkonen scores on his shot then yeah textbook no goal but Dubnick made the save.

No later than last year Price was dragged 1 meter away from his goal by a player and apparently it was a good goal. Hard to follow the interference rule these days.
That 'good-goal' call last year in favour of the Rangers, when they dragged Price totally away from the net and then scored, was the most hilariously awful decision I've seen in years.

The NHL is ridiculously inconsistent on this matter. That's unacceptable and unfair for the players and fans
