Gus gets the start tomorrow, which is a wise move. Playing Dallas is gonna be like walking out your front door and getting slapped with a -40 windchill. It'll wake you up. We've played some easier opponents the last couple of weeks. Stars are a different level.

Just hope Benn doesn't act like a moron.

Y'know, I don't want anyone to get hit in the seeds. But, if someone had to get a scroat shot...it couldn't be Johansson instead? That's some bulls**t.

There are a few players in the league I feel that way about whenever we play against them, and he is certainly one of them.

Ruptured testicle...oof. Mine did not do that, but it was all colors of the rainbow for a couple of weeks. Tough to walk for a while.

When it comes to Zuccarello, there's a lot of speculation out there. But I don't think there's anything from the Wild about the details of the injury.

So we are 16 games in and I’m not sure that Trenin is an effective nhl player on any level. As far as I can tell he brings literally nothing to the lineup. He slow and plodding and probably a worse skater the Boogaard. He has no discernible puck skills. He’s fairly big but plays a baby shit soft game. He hasn’t stood out on the pk.

Does this dude have pics of Guerin banging the HR lady in Leupolds office?

I just don’t get it

OTOH, he likely won't be getting too many cheapshots playing with those two.

I really don't know WTH Hynes is thinking.

What if Johansson fits better with Kap than the one ball dude?
We just don't know, don't think he has played with him many shifts except the PP last game.
Maybe zuke fits better with others, so that he can't get back this default option of always looking for Kap.
Might be a blessing in disguise.
I don't know, just trying to find a positive angle here.

We’ve seen this movie 100x man
Sure but still not going to complain if it's working. I'm going to complain when it's stop working and we still don't change lines.

What I'm starting to appreciate about Hynes is willing to try new combos even midgame when lines feel stagnate. Gives me hope that when we do run into a funk, we will be trying new lines for better or worse. That was my single biggest issue with Evason so I like that change

1C Boldy is extremely intriguing, we have seen a bit of it in the past and he's been getting better and better, feel like his foot speed and pace are finally at the level needed to be successful in our system. When he and Kap are together its just magic on the ice, skill and creativity at levels very few teams can match.

I don’t mind it either but the go to change is always to punt Rossi to the bottom 6. How many times has Zucc or Marjo been demoted this year when trying to shake things up. Maybe if you need more offense try Rossi on the wing for a few shifts being centered by Ek and playing with Kap or Boldy opposite them. The kid always gets shit on any time there’s any mixing

Trenin is getting close to the number of games where guys usually start to figure out the new systems and teammates. I usually give ~20 games of leeway, and he's cutting it close, for sure.

I'm not sure I'd take it quite as far as you have in your description, but he certainly has not been worth the contract so far.

Even giving the benefit of the doubt the dude is a 2x2 signing max

Mojo gets a promotion, while Rossi gets demoted. Unbelievable.

He'll sink tied to the anchor on that line, and then Hynes will complain that he doesn't like his performance.

Got a feeling Rossi’s line is gonna score tonight. If first line doesn’t do damage tonight, not so sure 2nd line will do much either. Hoping Rossi on 3rd will give them a chance to pick something up to help. If Trenin could give them something it would be a huge lift.
