Anyway, because of his very appealing contract(1.7M), Hartman is probably going nowhere. MN will have cap penalties of close to 15M for each of the next two years, and need to pinch pennies. Hartman is a bargain relative to what he is paid.

The Wild almost never release anything detailed about injuries. Usually if it's a weeks-long type of thing, they'll say something like "It's not as bad as we thought it might be, but he'll be out for a little bit here". With this Evason said something like, and I'm paraphrasing a bit "It's bad. He's going to be out a long time." If he were out for the season, they probably would have just said that outright, but they also said it'd be a long time. Months seems to be the general vibe from all the contextual clues.
