Maybe because loser coach hynes has his favorites! BOGO is playing and so is Jon Merrill who sucks but is favorite of wild coach. Give it dude, move on
Every coach has a player they love that the fanbase hates. I still remember the Leafs with Polak.. Babcock loved him and the fans wanted him gone.lol

The Wild fanbase likes Jiricek and expects him to be a long term solution at 2RD behind Faber. The people who are saying he sucks are Columbus fans searching for a reason to justify the trade.

I posted here because the pick the Wild sent Columbus has improved from the 31st pick to the 23rd pick. In that regards, the trade looks better now than when the trade was made and it has nothing to do with Jiricek.

Jiricek could still turn out to be a fine 2nd pairing guy, I think every Jackets fan knows he has a ton of talent. But sometimes it doesn't happen with the team that drafts them.

Just in moment Jiricek is going to shut CBj fans up, he was solid in his first 4 games and absolute machine in his last 2 games with Minnesota. And Mateychuk is not doing much rn with Columbus lol, this trade will bite Wadell in the butt. On the other hand, he sucked at Columbus this year.
Is this a joke? Sarcasm? You might want to watch some games to make any assessment about Mateychuk. I hope Jiricek does really well, but there is very little chance he becomes the top pair RHD he was expected to be. Maybe he's been humbled by the trade and will actually work on his game. I wish him luck but this take is absurd. Nice recovery try with the last sentence though.

Hynes is stupid. Pretty simple.
Or maybe he's not ready to play a sound 2-way game in the NHL yet. This isn't the first time and won't be the last. He felt jerked around by Columbus, yet showed no improvement and could not take a roster spot from Jake Christiensen and was passed by Mateychuk. Couldn't keep Harris from be waived and staying on the NHL roster. He's just not ready. This pissing match on here is silly. He may eventually be a good NHL player. It is highly unlikely he's the top pair RHD he was expected to be. He has significant flaws that can probably be corrected with time and effort. It's not the coach. It's the player. It's OK that he's not playing yet. He's not a NHL defenseman on a good team yet.

Bogo strikes me as the kind of player that would play on a broken leg.
Well, in the past he was considered to be an injury prone player who missed a lot of games, but he has been dependable for Minnesota, and hasn't missed too many games, due to injury, anyway.

Random fans declare winnerr in the trade, Minny/Czech fans get defensive... Wonder how many more times this happens in the next few years
I was wondering the same thing lol. We're catching all sorts of stray bullets here, I don't think anybody is crowning us a winner in this trade. I'm still happy we did it, but this one's years away from sorting out.
