I’m still a big Brazeau shill and will be sad to see him go despite this trade making a lot of sense.

Big body but not a hitter and easy to get knocked down. Not a great skater either but can move once he gets up to speed. Pros are exceptional hands especially around the net and very high hockey IQ. If the dude could ever learn to skate well he’d be a force.

He's a 22 years old rookie and can handle 190 feet of the ice. The offense isn't quite there, that doesn't mean it won't come.

I see more offensive instincts in him than I did JEE at the same age.

I don't think he'd ever be a 1st liner, solid 3rd liner or capable 2nd liner is far from out of the question.

So they are trying to replace JEE on the PP.
Khusnutdinov being a 2nd or 3rd line player in the NHL is laughable at this stage. Much closer to being out of the league altogether than that level of player in this league. He can skate but is small, weak on pucks, below average at the dot, awful on the PK, and has absolutely zero feel for the game once he crosses the red line.

The Boston guy looks worthless in his own right but getting worked up of Khusnutdinov being moved for nothing is utterly amusing. Nearly as much as calling him a potential SECOND or third line player.

It’s a meh trade. Khus and Lauko will never be top 6 guys. It’s not robbery if all you get back are 4th line guys. 2 useless twats for 1. Who cares.

Love this trade all around.

Brazeau is the man. Didn't score much as the year went on but no one has. He can be a very good net front guy. Hope he resigns there, could be a good fit.

So sick Lauko is coming back. Bruins need his energy and vibes.

Khusnutdinov seems like a good guy to take a flyer on. I don't know anything until I see him.

Guerin just traded a lot of our speed for nothing. I wish he was gone before we get out from under the Parise and Suter contracts this summer. He is a horrible GM who is going to waste that freed up money on crap. Just cares about slow, gritty players who remind him of himself. He should be fired for that Trenin contract all by itself.

Tired of this @#$%!

Ok. Let's say I agree with your statemen on Marat( I don't). We traded a 22 year old rookie who can be buried in the AHL to work on his offense for a guy that looks worthless and is a pending UFA.

At best, it's terrible asset management. Marat could certainly help Iowa.

Khusi wasn't accomplishing much but still has potential to snap into shape. I really really liked Lauko. I guess I hope I'll be forced to eat crow.

Jesus. Had to be some sort of verbal speed record with Guerin getting out, "OMG!WE'LLTAKEHIM!!!"
Big and slow are Guerin's dream team. It's like he thinks he can recreate the 2007 Ducks. He's always concerned with having endless tough guys for the playoffs. Toughness isn't our problem. Lack of offense and special teams are what kill us every damn time. And bringing in more bigger, slower grinders isn't going to fix those problems.

It remains to be seen what his thoughts are of staying in Des Moines would be. Same as it remains to be seen if he can help any team in N.A. based on what he’s shown.

Clearly he’s not viewed as an asset by the team that traded him nor the league, hence the “return.”

Holy overpayment Batman
