Something about the ****ing Wild. Can't ****ing stand anything about them. Kings always lose these garbage 2-1, 1-0 games in St. Paul.

It's the Coyotes circa 2012 vibe. Buncha scrappy tryhards who don't have a shot in hell at the big prize, but consistently prove to be a pain in the ass. They're a swarm of flies--annoying and forgettable.

It also doesn't help that their fanbase was planning the parade after the Parise/Suter signings, and their dumb**** owner gives out these huge FA contracts every year. They're everything LA isn't.

You mean, like... everything? Garbage franchise. People say OUR team is boring. No idea how anyone who claims to like hockey sits thorough that garbage for 86 games a year.

As someone who lives in MN and who, I guess, should consider them my home team, I can't stand hardly anything about this team. You are right, they are probably the most boring team to watch in the NHL, they are the softest team physically, they have the most over-rated goalie in the league, the worst announcers, and the fans have this sense of superiority since they live in the "state of hockey." If you want to beat them, you have to do what the Blues did the last time they played, play physical as all heck the first period and the Wild play scared the rest of the game.

Kopitar passed him a while ago, but Lecavalier isn't by himself for 2nd on the team in goals since he got here anymore. Toffoli finally caught up to him. Only took 34 games.

I've never seen it put quite like that but I think you are pretty damn close to the truth. Thing is, I don't think they try all that hard all that often. They only try hard against really good teams and then lose games to bottom dwellers. Colorado actually puts in more effort I think on a game to game basis.

Refreshing to see a Reign player come in and have such a positive impact right away. Looked like sutter showed big trust in him late in the game, i was happy to see him out there, Dowd was buzzing and creating all night. Dowd is what i was hoping shore would be... Let's see if this is our young player spark that we need for this run... IE king/nolan-->2012 toffoli/pearson-->2014

The most Pacific thing ever would be for not Anaheim but SJ to win the division on the very last day, last game, but not straight up, on like a technicality like Arizona wins by 3 or some ****

I hope this is the last of Shore, I rather take my chances with a guy like Dowd or Kempe.

Indeed, Kempe should be the next forward call up if anyone else goes down. Dowd looked real strong and didn't look out of place at all. I think Gravel could come in right away and replace McNabb as well.

Nvm about Kempe being the next call up, it would probably be Mersch. Dowd and Mersch would definitely improve our bottom 6 big time.

In either case, I would rather take my chances with ANY those guys than Nick Shore. I'm pretty sure his 51% from the dot can be met by another hungry prospect from Ontario. I'm just not getting the hype of Nick Shore. Maybe, I'm wrong but I think someone else from Ontario could do better. Then again, I'm not an expert.

What part of Minnesota you live in we should have a playoff watch party hahahaha

That would be so funny. Or the Quacks have to win the make up game in WSH and have to win in regulation by 3, and lose 4-3 in OT

Like how everyone said we barley made the playoffs in 2012 [by 5 points] yet no one ever points outs that had the Kings won both games vs SJ they'd have won the division.

I can careless about where we place in the division, I just want to avoid Chicago and Anaheim in the first round...

Yeah, those are the ones to avoid. I still think it will be Nashville, but given the chance at anyone, the Avs. We would still have to win the conference which is still in reach. Got to get those next two points with the game in hand with Dallas to remain close.

Would rather have Dowd in the lineup over AA, maybe even Shore. So many ****ing chances but they couldn't convert, super frustrating to watch. Scuderi paired with Schenn better not be revisited, very slow with almost no mobility.
Not to bring it up, but the last two things I posted. Dowd is good at 3/4C. The D is slow now, Scuds Schenn, and the third guy molasses.

Starting to think a 1st round match up with Hawks would not be bad. The Hawks usually start slow in the first round and get better as it goes.
