Can someone explain to a soft european what JT Miller has now done and why it is good / bad?
Sure… here is the what it boils down to at its simplest form…

By wearing the thin blue line hat JT Miller has either…

A) supported the Police and acknowledged the work that they do.

Or

B) supported Police brutality, and in doing so showing he is happy for Police to murder predominately black people and get away with it.

Whoever shouts the loudest and is granted the largest megaphones by the mega corporations that largely control public opinion.

Didn't the Wild sell Thin Blue Line shirts? We know who's trying to shout loudest on our corner of society.
Well that's wrong. Whatever it's been co-opted to is one thing but it started as a symbol to represent the brotherhood of law enforcement.

The thin line separating society from falling into chaos. Support for those that gave the ultimate sacrifice.

There's a thin red, thin grey line, and other colors that represent the same original idea.
Isn't it an inherently conceited view that, absent strong police, society would literally fall into chaos and anarchy? In most of the world law enforcement are essentially the muscle of the powers-to -be, and depending on how much leeway they get, also double as criminal gangs.

Either way JT is entitled to his opinion, but like most athletes, is probably not prepared to deal with any heat inherit to taking political sides.

Are we really gonna pretend to be surprised that another nhl player is pro conservative?

The sky is blue
Btw
For those who are worry that JT might be a bad influences because of his political views, don’t you worry, I can guarantee you that probably 90% of the NA players in the nhl are pro conservative to various degree
