If you are going by capfriendly they have Nemec on the roster. Send him down bring up Zetterlund and it’s probably an even swap

You don’t have to add Bahl. You have the newly added Smith on the left. It’s not ideal but I think it would work to open the season.

They don't have to add anyone, the min NHL roster can be 20 players (incl. goalies). The max is 23. It's pretty common to have less to avoid salary cap.

They can make it work with this contract, they basically maxed the cap and gave Wood all they had.
