We havent really had someone who could step up and handle people when they target team mates since he left. Glad hes back. I only expect 15-20 points some big hits and fights.

No. The LEAQUE emasculated him along with anyone else with snarl on the team after they won the cup in 2011. Our boys couldn’t even breathe on anyone without getting penalized. It was so obvious it was embarrassing. People talk about how “soft” the B’s have become….I don’t think they had a choice.
Hopefully enough time has passed, and the B’s are now allowed to have some toughness again.

Well, idk how this team will be or what his impact on the ice will be, but I’d be lying if I said this didn’t excite the absolute hell out of me
I don't care if he just stands on the ice. I don't care if we miss the playoffs. Having Looch back is something I've dreamed about. The Bruins got to earn my trust in the playoffs so I'm not gonna worry about making it.
This season should be interesting just by having Looch back. It's a good day. His presence alone on the 4th will protect our younger guys.

Not sure this is fair to say given it was this very FO that traded Lucic away when he was a fan favorite.
Does it bring in some hype for the team temporarily? For sure. But I'm still yet to have someone tell me why this is a bad move in either money or what will be his given role at the bottom of the forward lineup.

So happy. Less for nostalgia purposes, and more because I truly believe Lucic still carries some respect and more importantly fear around the league. He’s taken seriously. He’s gonna have an impact.

He's a serviceable 4th liner, but I'm watching everyone act like it's 2011.
He scored 30 goals in 2011, haven’t seen anyone suggest that’s what we’re getting. People are just excited to have him back, that’s understandable. In a game that’s main point is entertainment, people can enjoy whatever they want after the way last year ended.

I don't expect 30 goals and a first line powerhouse. I am looking forward to some heavy 4th line presence and fresh leadership for the youngins. Excited to have him back and to see that jersey come to life again.
