If Ryan Reaves gets 3 years 1.5M AAV, then Lucic at 1 year/1M is a steal.

They're very close in fighting ability and there's no way Lucic is a worse player.

My thoughts exactly. I recall in the last half of season leading up to the B's dealing him, he was no longer mean and came off as non-chalante.

There's something that happens to players in their twilight years though, like the spark gets rekindled when you're not looking at your wallet so much but more so that one last kick at that silver can...hopefully it's the latter.

I just think people need to be realistic with Lucic. He's your 12th forward that hopefully can have a strong year.

Agreed. Appreciated Foligno and his leadership, but I think Lucic brings more with the intimidation factor and the playoff success that Foligno doesn't have

That's a really good point. Maybe it'll give some of the younger guys more of a carefree attitude knowing looch is lurking in the background.
