Unpossible. That Big Mike might be as good as Lane Hutson someday.
He didn’t even beat out Cole Hutson for MVP; so big climb here. That Big Mike might be as good as Lane Hutson someday.
His attitude is amazing. Seems like he really loves the game, and that is more important than people realize. I could see him being the goalie version of Nico from an attitude perspective.
11-37-6 over the last season and a half with Omaha.
Had a sub 90% save percentage last year.
Playing on a bad team can kill a prospect, especially a goalie. Good thing he got out of there.
Sidenote: One of the 2 current netminders in Omaha is a 19 year old Jersey kid by the name of Daniel Moor. He's not an NHL prospect but I'm sure he'd like to play some college hockey for free. While playing for the Jersey Hitmen last year he posted a .924 save %. In 8 games with Omaha this season he's posting a 85% save percentage and a 6.5 GAA. That's a difficult cross to bear.
I feel like nobody in the NHL who's from NJ is a Devils fan. Only one that comes to mind is Ross Colton. Apparently John Carlson wasn't one.Not a Devils fan so he’s dead to me.
Yes, he was 10 when this 2016 article came out. And yes, I google NJ-area prospects favorite teams.
He’s going to Princeton.
