BU goes right back to yegorov again
  • pk little bit of a mess on the first goal. yegorov couldnt hold a shot and chased the puck all the way to the back boards to try to cover it (?) losing his stick in the process. able to get back in position but the puck was sent to the slot and, lets be real, an uncontested stick side shot is going in from there every time in this scenario lol
  • faced three breakdowns aside from that first pk. two were solid, composed saves: vs a high danger shot he deflected away, and vs an in alone breakaway deke to the backhand. the other he let up. 2 on 1 far side shot from about the dot with tons of time/space to shoot. could probably argue he was a bit off his angle, but very much in the realm of cant blame the goalie
  • otherwise not that much threatening from unh. made the saves he had to. steady, square to shooters, great reflexes, held his post when he had to, tracked pucks through traffic, undisturbed by attackers coming in tight, etc. held steady on a late 6 on 4 to keep the game secured
  • glove sufficient but kinda wonky again. tracking pucks, not really getting beat, but reactions a little off/not always cleanly catching pucks either
got his first win. not as impressive as his debut, but so far all 3 goals hes let up constitute acceptable GAs imo. also another viewing where a goofy play led to an early goal against lol. still things to improve of course, but so far hes saving what he has to for BU (and got goal support this time). maybe the easiest game hes played since coming to NA lol at least until the 3rd

give him a chance to get some actual coaching. That glove will improve
