It's not completely unknown for the ultras of European soccer clubs to physically threaten and even attack their players if they think the performance has been subpar for too long, so there are some extreme elements involved as well.
And I don't mean to insinuate that this has anything to do with keeping anyone accountable, but purely despicable and criminal behavior.
