Zibanejad thread getting bumped? Guess we're going to **** on him and praise Brassard as per usua...oh wait.

:D

Outside of that 1 awful game I think he's played well this playoffs...he was outstanding tonight....kzb has gotten really really good really fast....too bad we waited 85 games...

Starting to get more production from all the lines now. That is what makes this team a threat. Also, Lundqvist being locked in has been the difference also.

Even without that goal I think Zibanejad has been playing well the last couple of games. Very involved with the physical aspects. I just don't see a reason to complain in the here and now. Forget about the past, and we can't predict the future.
I don't quibble about how a guy scored a goal when he got to the right place and did the right thing when it mattered.

A broken play but still nice goal. Quick hands with flick of the wrist to get that puck past price.

That's the beauty of the playoffs. You can be average in the regular season with a frustrating execution on the ice every night but a playoff moment can pingu all of that into a pengu.

I don't care what his goal looked like when people were saying he would have missed the net on Brassard's tap in goal in game 2 of his series.

I hear what you're saying and the Zibby goal was not an easy one. Price was right there and he had to be super quick to put that puck in the back of the net but the Brass goal in game 2 was not a tap in goal. He blasted a one timer off a nice Karlsson pass. The one he scored in game 3 was a tap in goal from in front of the net.

Happy for Zib and he is a true big game clutch player, we knew that from the WJC finals which will never ever be forgotten in Sweden.

1 goal and 1 assist, +2, 3 shots on goal, 4 hits and 4 blocks, almost 18 minutes of icetime, an impressive complete effort.

I feel you guys sometimes have been a bit tough on him considering his injury.

Ottawa have a tendency in trading clutch players. Silfverberg is a another clutch type of player in the playoffs right now.

Broken play in OT and lucky as hell goal and the guy can do no wrong again?

It was not just the goal, he had a great overall game, including setting up Fast on the shortie.

Buy a Kreider T-Shirt right NOW.

I feel like he's afraid of getting in trouble because it's MTL and Price. =/

Already have one, lol. But hopefully setting up a GW goal will get him pumped up and get Montreal out of his head.

True, but the players they traded for in these 2 examples have been pretty clutch for Ottawa.

The play on the shorthsnded goal was great up the entire length ou'd the ice. Like 3 or 4 good plays linked together.

The goal was lucky but that's the playoffs. He needs to keep this up.

I was so happy for him last night. He made two key plays. We had not seen that guy in a while. He must have felt a lot of pressure with Brooks talking about Brass in the media. He seems like a good kid/man. Hopefully he gets a huge confidence boast and goes on a run now. :)

I think getting the points and havign buch back in will help a lot. That line has been buzzing since being reunited. They all bring out the best in each other imo.

i think chemistry is a big deal here too...people always ignore it...i feel like he kreider and buch just have magical chemistry...theyre not the best defensively, but offensively they are terrific.

deploy them as such.
